Eternity with Adam & Eve

Image of Eternity with Adam & Eve

$16.00

This clock not only tells time but it represents and describes time as being infinite and everlasting. The Clock was placed in the middle of the tree where Adam & Eve were tempted by the serpent and ate from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. My idea was to express that the clock (time) and the tree is one and the same. They are limitless. We have the choice of using our time for good or evil.

The model was done entirely in French Knots on tight woven fabric. It measures approximately 3w x 4h. The chart is coded for DMC floss colors along with Weeks Dye Works for the grass.

This piece received a Red Ribbon at the 46th Annual National Needlework Exhibition at the Woodlawn Plantation in Alexandria, Virginia.
